I haven't been around in a while so it may be out of place for me to post something, but doing nothing when the Fable series is in such dire need is a thing I can't do anymore. Lionhead Studios closed, right? Well, some of the veterans created an indie studio by the name of Flaming Fowl. These developers were working on a game titled Fable Fortune, a card game based in the Fable universe that's unique in its own way, while Lionhead Studios was still up and running. Despite Microsoft refusing to release the rights to the series they have given the indie studio permission to continue working on the game.

It is relatively new and of my own design to help spread the word. I will be adding links there to the other locations on the internet I have posted advertisements for.

While it's not the direction many may want the series to go in, at least it's something. Accomplishing this may mean getting their foot in the door and maybe, just maybe, we'll get closer to returning to the series we love. It's going to be a tough battle but it's one worth fighting for, I think.

So please, give the links a look. If you don't have the ability to contribute money, please at least spread the word. Flaming Fowl needs more advertisement for this game and it goes a long way to just put out a mention here and there.

Yay! I'm now a member. You know if someone gave them a good enough idea they might do another game. It wouldn't be the first time. They are leaving alot of loose ends if they stop now. I'd love to fight the Shadow Court.

Well, seeing that they are done with the series.. Thank god. To be completely honest, I've been a die-hard TLC fan from the start. Seeing what Lionhead did (lazily) with Fable II made me very troubled with where the series was headed.
I spent hours playing that game, hoping I could find remnants of the old, now abandoned world that was TLC. In anticipation for Fable III to be better, I purchased the game, and was more happy with it than II, I was still not fully satisfied.
Truly a series that could have exceeded it's potential, but was interfered with "interactions," and other useless crap. The Fable I grew up to love turned from fantasy RPG medieval world, to monty python-esque/ steampunkish rubbish.
I cannot be the only one who thinks this, can I? To me, II and III give me a love/ hate feeling for the whole thing. I love being a hero, I  love the customization, the importance... but I feel like I'm leashed in the universe.
Like it's not REALLY Fable anymore.
